A mouse in a maze has free will, but also it doesn’t. Maybe our lives are best viewed like that. There’s actual hard evidence suggesting that people don’t have free will. One experiment measures electrical impulses in the brain, and it concludes that decisions are made before a person is aware that the decision has been made. The other experiment is the “delayed choice double slit experiment” which shows that the reality we exist in is pre-recorded.
