Beautifully written. However, the human predicament is much more harrowing than you elude to. People, for instance, don’t really know what you mean when you say suffering. Also, the name Maya evokes an anthropomorphized entity instead of revealing the truth about this world. It is industrial technology and automation that rules here, not something with a name. Furthermore, the body count (of animals mainly) is so enormous that it can no longer be ignored, in favour of a naturalistic explanation… the balance of yin and yang, etc. Our earth is deeply out of balance. I wonder if human beings are being used as a weapon of mass consumption? No naturalistic explanation suffices.
