Jung’s ideas about dreams and symbolism makes sense when you shift your perspective. It is the ordinary human “waking state” which is actually the dream state. The symbolism Jung was talking about is embedded everywhere. We are literally surrounded by fictionalized non-fiction. Our job is to wake up.
Here’s the shocker… Jung himself was also asleep.
