Hi, good topic and nicely written! FYI: I came up with both answers.

We collectively seem to believe that mathematics is a bed rock (though maybe it really is) however there are several examples that demonstrate mathematical paradoxes.

One famous paradox is the proof of irrational numbers not being representable as a ratio of two whole numbers. When I learned that, I realized that the world was a weirder place than I knew.

Maybe if mathematics is really foundational then perhaps these paradoxes are foundational too… making for a much more interesting world.

Anyways, very fascinating!
