I also have prescience, sometimes too. I used to live at 88 Greenwich in Manhattan. Two weeks prior to 9/11, I stood once below the world trade centre (building two) and looked up and tried to memorize the details of the architecture, in detail, knowing or sensing that I would never see this building again. I’ve never done that kind of thing before, ever.

And, get this. About two weeks earlier, also, a friend convinced me to take a Tarot reading from a woman that had set up a table on the street. I agreed. Then, the Tarot reader said my life would turn upside down in the coming weeks. I’ve never gone to a Tarot reader before. What is weird is that I can still see the sympathy in her eyes. She was transgender. It was all very strange.

Then I watched the whole catastrophe unfold in real time from my 12th floor balcony. The same balcony that I used to hear guitar strumming’s and cowboy serenades from the visiting Texan right below us. He also used to complain about my daughter’s foot steps on the ceiling.

My marriage was dissolving. I quit neurosurgery. I found Life, and weirder things began happening after that. I’m now living in Canada.

I like your stories.

This is my new favourite quote: “if you were to live in a world where truth was censored, then you would communicate using stories.”
