I believe our thoughts, collectively, are far too conventional and over simplified. I am not a physicist, however, I did come across some pieces of compelling evidence that suggests our world model is wrong. One piece of evidence comes from the observation that information (entropy) contained within a black hole is proportional to its surface area and not its volume… suggesting that things are two dimensional rather than three dimensional. More evidence comes from the observation of entanglement. All together these pieces of evidence suggest that there is a collapse of space and time. Or, at least, that there is a different underlying structure than what classical mechanics and quantum mechanics tries to describe. The description of what is physical seems to be something very different than simply particles, or other concrete ideas.
