I just thought it was a funny joke someone told me a long time ago. I though I’d share it.
In all seriousness the spiritual teachers know nothing. If they did, they wouldn’t be talking the way they do. And, their bias is profoundly biocentric. The truth of things about our world goes way beyond what these spiritual teachers know. They likely would not also be psychologically strong enough with that knowledge. However, they aren’t doing anyone any favours either. I wrote a story once where I said something like, “if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have been in such a hurry to grow up.” I’m not sure this is entirely correct, but it does offer a warning of sorts. My advice is to go and seek the higher power(s) directly for yourself. To get you started, you will have to learn another language, a language of metaphor or parable. This is a language where one speaks of one thing but is really speaking about another thing. You will find that our whole world is coded in this manner. But also, beware of liars. Good luck!
