I know it is the Truman Show, of sorts, but our world serves a purpose that has nothing to do with the joys of historical re-creations. The earth is a like a power plant, and the living things here (us) produce this power. The action of thinking produces a kind of useable energy that can be harnessed to do other work, and also to support other civilizations. Our scientists don’t understand this yet, and they likely never will, unless people like our self helps them from the future.
