It’s a very complex parable, as it conflicts with wisdom, and perhaps simply demonstrates outdated and unenlightened thinking. I have a quote that goes, “it is better to be poor and unhappy than rich and unhappy. And, if you are happy then it does not matter if you are rich or poor. Thus, it is best to be poor.”
Also, I have noticed in my life that events that seem bad are often actually good, and events that seem good are often bad.
So, what is poverty exactly? Is it lack of money or is it lack of wisdom?
