Our collective scientific understanding is flawed through and through. On the one hand we say that the speed of light is a constant, then on the other hand we introduce the Doppler effect. Would something that remained at constant velocity for all reference frames ever be able to Doppler shift? Then, the next explanation for the red shift is that the substrate of the universe itself is expanding. It seems like a big leap of faith to come up with that conclusion, and yet everyone believes it.

There’s a similar situation in our understanding of the results of the double slit experiment, too. Especially the “delayed choice double slit experiment.”

Anyways, nicely written and well thought out. Thanks
