So, you are beginning to understanding, too. I noticed one day that the fictional literature I was reading seemed to be speaking about real things where it wasn't entirely fictional, if you know what I mean. Then I realized there was a language of metaphor that was being used to talk about other things right under the nose of the reader. Like a code. I've known about this for a long time now. I believe it is what the mystics call "seeing." I wrote a new poem 4 days ago called "The Dictionary." It is almost the opposite of the poem "The Shimmering." And, it relates even more to your original comment, strangely enough. Tell me what you think.
