The other show that was prescient is the episode from Star Trek Next Generation called “Inner Light.” However, I don’t think Soylent Green is describing the future, I think it is describing the present. Hidden out of view, of course. I never really quite understood when I was younger, when people said, “Man does not eat bread alone.”
