Huxley wasn't writing about the future. He was writing about something that has already occurred a long time ago. Before we were born.
In a world where truth is censored, we would communicate using stories. And, this is what we already do.
Think about it. This world is eternal. Human beings don't remember any of it. Ask yourself why.
The books "Time Machine," "Clockwork Orange," and "1984" point to the same message. This message can also be found in music, too. And, is often coded in metaphor.
We are surrounded by "fictionalized non-fiction" everywhere, like a message in parallel.
