You make a very good point. When something happens slowly enough it is very difficult to see the change.

The real eye opener for me in terms of "what the f___ is going on in this world!" is when I realized that 100 billion animals were slaughtered each year at the hands of human beings. This number on its own is nearly meaningless, but consider this... if you were to kill one animal every second, it would take you about 11 days to kill one million animals. If you were to kill 100 billion animals in this manner, it would take you 3100 years!!! So, that's an un-ignorable and unacceptable amount of killing... almost like a message.

My advice seek truth, seek God (real God, not the Lord or any other lying entity), seek help from higher powers. Start now and don't stop, because as far as I can tell... we are locked in a room with a love flavored serial killer.
