You might find this interesting… there was a tv show called “The Prisoner” that was filmed in a place called Portmeirion Village, in Wales. In that town they have a very old mascot, or female figurehead, which is displayed everywhere. It is the same mermaid image that Starbucks uses… with a bifurcated tail. If you connect the dots you might see an ancient message and warning for seamen, but then again you might not. Lol.
